Training of Teachers
On February 9th, 2024, teachers from the Diocese of Kampala were trained at All Saints Chapel, Lweza to extend the Dream Wave Christian Education program to schools. These teachers are currently ministering to children aged 0 to 18 years, and the discipleship has reached Taibah International Schools, both Primary and Secondary. As a result of this outreach, more children are being baptised and confirmed, showing a growing commitment to Christ. This initiative is strengthening spiritual foundations and expanding Christian education across the region.
Emerging Leaders Training – Cohort 1
The first Emerging Leaders Training was successfully conducted over eight weeks, equipping young pre-university and graduate leaders with practical leadership skills, spiritual growth, and vocational training. Participants engaged in hands-on sessions in bakery, computer literacy, music production, photography, videography, and graphic design. The program attracted youth from across Uganda, with 30% coming from Makindye Ssabagabo Municipality, including Lubowa, Kajjansi, and Lweza. Invitations were shared through church networks and organizational platforms. Distinguished mentors—including Archbishop Stephen Kaziimba Mugalu, Archbishop Emeritus Henry Luke Orombi, and Bishop Onesimus Asiimwe—offered spiritual guidance and encouragement throughout the training. To ensure long-term impact, a follow-up with participants from Makindye Ssabagabo is being planned. This will help assess how the training is influencing their communities and identify ways to continue supporting their leadership journey.
YOUTH PASTORAL TRAINING PROGRAM COHORT 1
Youth Pastoral Leaders Graduation – April 26, 2025 On April 26, 2025, a group of Youth Pastoral Leaders graduated after completing a two-year training program focused on equipping them with essential skills to disciple and transform the lives of young people in Uganda. This milestone coincided with the graduation of the Emerging Leaders Cohort. The program empowered pastors with practical ministry tools and spiritual leadership training. Among the graduates were six pastors from Mengo Archdeaconry, Namirembe Diocese, and All Saints Chapel Lweza. These leaders are now actively discipling youth within their congregations, playing a vital role in shaping the next generation. This initiative continues to inspire and strengthen youth ministry across the country, and more leaders are encouraged to join future cohorts to expand their impact.
